The Key Digital KD-S4x1X-2 is a slim-series HDMI switcher offering professional-level quality, performance, and reliability at a cost-effective price point.
Professional AV Installations
Engineered for professional audio-video installations with HDR, HDCP 2.2, and 4K, the KD-S4x1X-2 is ideal for home theaters, gaming spaces, and presentation setups, connecting many video sources to one display, making setup easier with less cabling required.
Additionally, it provides L/R analog and Optical audio de-embed ports to send audio of the selected source to amplifiers, DSPs, or soundbars for enhanced audio quality.
Auto-Switching Convenience
The 4 port HDMI switch offers the convenience of auto-switching to automatically select newly connected or powered sources so users don't have to hassle with manually switching inputs when adding or removing video sources.
Comprehensive Video Support
This HDMI switcher boasts comprehensive video support, covering all SD, HD, VESA, and Ultra HD/4K video standards.
It includes HDR header information in a variety of 4K EDID handshakes, enhancing the visual experience with High Dynamic Range content.
Whether users are working with standard or 4K video sources, the KD-S4x1X-2 ensures compatibility and stunning visuals.
User-Friendly Control
The KD-S4x1X-2 offers flexible control options with a push-button, IR remote, and RS-232 via the included dongle. Additionally, status-monitoring LEDs provide visual feedback, keeping users informed about the active source.

Audio De-embedding: Audio of the selected HDMI input is output at the digital Optical and analog 3.5mm stereo connectors
Auto-Switching: Automatic selection of newly detected source and switching from newly disconnected source via hot plug detection voltage when enabled -
Full Buffer System™: Manages TMDS re-clocking / signal re-generation, HDCP authentication to source & display, and EDID Control handshake
Surround Audio Support: Dolby® TrueHD, Dolby® Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio™, and Dolby® Atmos
CEC Pass-thru: From connected display to selected HDMI source
