HDMI content from digital signage player or cable/sat box is selected and distributed to the display islands and vignettes throughout the store. Local distribution amplifiers at each area re-clock the HDMI, effectively distributing a brand-new signal to each display for optimal quality without any degradation. Utilizing parts with down-convert capability, the system can even send 4K content into a 1080p display if needed.
