Key Digital Adds TOA LENUBIO as Compass Control® Pro Partner Alliance Product for Bi-Directional Integration and KD-CamUSB Auto-PTZ Control
MOUNT VERNON, NY – August 25, 2021 – Key Digital, an award-winning developer and manufacturer of leading-edge digital video processing and video signal distribution solutions, announces the addition of the LENUBIO (AM-CF1) audio collaboration system from TOA, a Japan-based manufacturer of audio equipment, in the Compass Control® Pro Partner Alliance program. The LENUBIO professional steerable microphone array system with integrated stereo soundbar integrates with Compass Control Pro control software to provide two valuable functions. LENUBIO is fully controllable with bi-directional status using Key Digital’s professional control software, and the soundbar also works in conjunction with Key Digital’s PTZ USB camera, KD-CamUSB, to allow the camera to automatically call pre-programmed presets that pan, track, and zoom to speaking participants. This technological partnership delivers a complete solution ideal for conference rooms, huddle spaces, and hybrid classrooms. Key Digital’s KD-CamUSB offers a professional 1080p webcam while the TOA LUNUBIO offers professional microphone array and soundbar with Audio Echo Cancelation (AEC). The USB connectivity of these devices allows any presenter to connect their laptop and begin using the system with the conferencing software of their choice including Skype®, GoToMeeting®, Microsoft Teams®, Zoom™, RingCentral®, Google® Hangouts, and more. Key Digital’s Compass Control® Pro is a fully integrated control system built from the ground up to replace traditional control interfaces by allowing users to control professional audio, video, security, HVAC, and lighting systems using iOS devices. The drag-and drop module GUI delivers a modern and user-friendly interface, while the option for customized graphics allows for a tailored GUI design theme. The extensive list of pre-configured control drivers, modules, and GUI templates available with the Compass Alliance Partners program creates a simple plug-and-play system saving integrators valuable programming time. LENUBIO audio system for conference rooms incorporates TOA's proprietary array microphone technology, digital signal processing and 2-way active speakers. The LENUBIO array microphone collects sound by detecting and tracking voice in real-time to visually display presenter location using seven LED indicators behind the grill. The soundbar also displays microphone gain level and mute status. The unit features two live presets and multiple presets available over IP control with Compass Control Pro. The main LENUBIO audio control features with Compass Control Pro include speaker mute, speaker gain, microphone mute, and preset recall. The settings page allows for power on and off of Bluetooth and power off of the unit. When in use with KD-CamUSB and Compass Control Pro, the beam steering status of the LENUBIO microphone invokes the Compass Control Pro master controller to automatically position the USB camera. The advanced beam steering controls, when notifications are turned on, display the exact position of the microphone as x and y coordinates in inches or centimeters as specified. Beam steering position may also be fixed on manual mode by setting the angle and distance accordingly. “LENUBIO communicates really nicely with Key Digital’s Compass Control Pro in, for example, education,” said Ian Weingold, Business Development Manager and FL Regional Sales Manager for TOA Electronics. “With two live presets and countless stored presets capable to be pulled over IP with Compass Control Pro, an integrator can program as many presets for various room configurations as necessary using Key Digital’s Compass Control Pro software.” LENUBIO (AM-CF1) joins TOA DP-SP3 digital processor, DP-K1 modular digital processor, 9000M2 Series Router, and 9000M2 Series Mixer on the Compass Control® Pro Partner Alliance program roster.
